Only one week left for Worship Under the Stars!
Hey Everyone -
WOW - only 7 full days left until the big day! I cannot believe how quickly it found us. Worship Under the Stars, 2006 is quickly approaching!
I can tell you that the band and singers are READY! We have a full rehearsal Saturday night, and that will be until the final dress rehearsal Thursday evening.
Tickets are now being sold at the christian bookstores, many sponsor churches and online. So far, we’ve only seen around 100 tickets sold, but we’ve been reminded over and over that people “wait until the last minute”. We’d rather not sweat that out, though! GET YOUR TICKETS NOW!
Speaking of … did you know that worshipers have already secured tickets online from Tifton, Pooler, Statesboro, Hilton Head, Bluffton, Milledgeville, and other places? How exciting is that!
BUDGET:
As you can see from the homepage, we are still more than $15,000 down on our budget. We have discussed making major moves, such as cancelling the Friday night show and only meeting on Saturday night. But then, if the same crowd shows up like last year, we’d have to turn people away. Can you join in prayer with me that our budget will be met my more donations, and that both Friday and Saturday nights will be sell out crowds? I’m in faith for this, and I’m confident that we’ll be full on both nights!
If you’d like to make your own donation, you can do so online. ANY DONATION is welcome, and those donations $500 and higher will be printed in our program if they are received by Friday (deadline to be printed in program is this weekend).
VOLUNTEERS:
We still need LOTS of volunteers, from loading in (Wednesday), to ticket sales, security, ushers, etc. Please fill out the Volunteer Contact form on the website if you’d like to volunteer.
