With the “Worship Under The Stars” event dates quickly approaching, we need your help! Below are several areas of volunteer positions that you can choose from. To volunteer, please complete the form below or call us at 912-638-8742.

Volunteer Positions Needed

Load-in Crew

This is the crew of people that will be used on Wednesday, October 18th, to assist in setting up all of the equipment. General works hours will be 10am until 2pm (hopefully). The majority of this group must be able to do lifting of 35-60 lbs, as well as light-weight overhead lifting. Need: 6 People, 4 minimum

Load-out Crew

This is the crew of people that will be used on Monday, October 23rd, to assist in tearing down all of the equipment. General works hours will be 10am(tentative) until 1pm (hopefully). The majority of this group must be able to do lifting of 35-60 lbs, as well as light-weight overhead lifting. Need: 5 People

Ushers

This is the team responsible for answering questions, as well as helping people find seats, and assisting those who might need help navigating the Auditorium. This position is only needed on Friday, from 6:00pm until after the Auditorium has cleared, and Saturday, at the same time. Requires extended periods of standing. People signing up for this position can work one night or the other, not both. Need: 10 People, 8 minimum per night.

Box Office Attendants

A new team this year, this team will be used to sell tickets at the door the night of the show, as well as hand out will call tickets. Must be able to work with money, visually scan lists of names quickly, and interact with people. This position is only needed on Friday, from 5:30pm until 7:30pm, and Saturday, at the same time. People working this position will sit on stools. People signing up for this position can work one night or the other, not both. Need: 4 People per night.

Ticket Taking Team

These are the people who will take the tickets at the front door of the Auditorium. People volunteering in this position will be required to stand at the front doors of the Auditorium, and make sure that people provide a ticket as the enter. If people do not have a ticket, this team will direct those people to the Box Office. This team will also be required to keep the doors of the Auditorium closed until the Director opens the doors. Need: 6 People, 4 minimum

Merchandise Team

This is the team that will operate the “product tables” after the concert. This position will require processing of CD and DVD pre-order forms, questions, and existing product sales. Administrative and financial integrity is a must. Need: 6 People, 3 minimum.
